The West End Home Foundation has released a publication that presents the impact achieved through the SeniorTrust Grant Program. This program operated from 2016 to 2024 with investments in aging services totalling nearly $45 million. The funds were recovered by the Tennessee Attorney General’s office from court cases involving the dissolution of two nonprofit corporations providing residential care for older adults in Murfreesboro. These nonprofits were being used as a front for for-profit entities.
Over the span of seven years, the SeniorTrust Grant Program delivered direct services to almost 47,000 older Tennesseans, age 60+, across all 95 counties. Program areas included dental care, transportation, legal services, home repairs/mobility modifications, and digital literacy & inclusion. The grant program transformed lives and transformed the systems of care that help older people remain active, healthy and engaged in their communities.
The West End Home Foundation has been honored to be a partner in this statewide, multi-year program and we are excited to share this report that documents all that has been achieved.
